Texas Sheet Cake
It's like cake but flat

Ingredients

| 1 Cup | Water |
| 1 Cup | Butter |
| 3 Tbsp | Unsweetened Cocoa Powder ↳ This is the key ingredient, the better it is, the better the result |
| 2 Cups | All Purpose Flour |
| 2 Cups | Granulated Sugar |
| 1 Tsp | Baking Soda |
| 1/2 Tsp | Salt |
| 1/2 Cup | Sour Cream |
| 2 | Large Eggs |
| 1 Tsp | Vanilla Extract |

| 3 + 3/4 Cups | Powdered Sugar |

Preheat oven to 350F, grease 18x13" pan

Add water, butter, and cocoa powder to a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir until combined, Bring mixture to a boil.
- While this is heating up, continue to the next few steps

Add sour cream, eggs, and vanilla into a bowl until thoroughly mixed.

Mix in the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.

Once the chocolate mixture is boiling, remove it from ehat and pour it into the mixture in the mixing bowl.
- Mix this part really well - there shouldn't be any lumps remaining
- Keep the saucepan around, clean if you have time. You'll need it for the frosting

Pour mixture into the 18x13" pan. Even out with a spatula to avoid uneven cook.

Put pan into oven between 14-18 minutes. Cake should be set, not jiggly or wet.
- If it's not set at 18, keep it in the oven, check every minute
- Start on the Icing roughly halfway through the bake.

Add milk, cocoa, and butter to a saucepan over medium heat. Mix together, bring to a boil

Once boiling, remove from heat and stir in powdered sugar.
- If lumps persist, use a whisk. Icing should still be warm/hot by the time the cake is done baking

Pour the hot icing over the cake. Evenly spread icing over cake with spatula. Wait 10-15 minutes so the frosting sets.
